Well, quality content is still paying off. You SHOULD produce great content for your blog if, you really want to be successful.
But it isn’t that easy to find great post ideas to write your next blog post. If you do have a personal blog, the case is absolutely different. You can immediately sit down to write about the whiskey you had last night or your temporary-break-up-again with your relation.
But, if you are a professional blogger, post ideas really concern. If your latest post is marvelous, people expect more than the former and you should also produce better than ever. So, where to get un-annoying yet awesome post ideas?
Your Previous Posts
Go through your previous blog posts and you might find something to write further. Sometimes or probably most of the times, you can carry on one of your posts with a fresh post. Like, for example, if you an article about traffic building; I’m sure you must have covered blog commenting, guest posting, article marketing, social media and others. So, for now, you can start writing on either guest posting or article marketing or even blog commenting. This is how I usually get something to write, often.
Other Niche Blogs
As a blogger, you should cultivate the habit of following some other blogs in your niche. This will give you inspiration and for instance, you can get inspiration for your next blog post. Keep in mind that, you are not asked to skim or re-write the article; instead, get inspiration and produce a better one.
Stumble Upon
Just like you, many other bloggers out there are social bookmarking their sites to get noticed on the internet. When you keep stumbling upon those sites, you are hit with a lot of interesting and unique articles. If someone could write a super-interesting article, why can’t you and why don’t you? Social bookmarking sites can help you in such ways too.
Browse Forums
To get more organic traffic, you need to write an article for which people search a lot. And where can you find such trending topics? Of course, on forums. Do visit them often and browse the forum, you can see questions and queries. You can pick the best of them to write a detailed article for your blog. If you make it attractive enough, you can also improve your readership.
Interview Someone
If no idea on earth hits your mind and even, none of the above works for you; you should probably interview a celebrity blogger of your niche. Ask them questions, advises, tips and their views. Carry on an interesting discussion and the readers will also keep it going via comments.
Carry A Notepad
Carry a notepad with you all the time. If this sounds old, install evernote app on your smartphone. Its quite obvious that you are sometimes hit with great post ideas when you are off the reach and you might want to write a beautiful post on it. But, very soon, you gradually forget about it just like me. So, having a notepad can really help you in such cases.
Infographics
P.S. Not to mention- I wrote this because, I ran out of blog post ideas.

Interview is best and working trick to attract some readers and get some traffic
All good tips here but Stumbleupon stands out. You can get a hoard of ideas and make a masterpiece out of them. I don’t exactly remember what ideas I got from Stumbling but there are a handful of such posts on my blog.
Anyway nice ideas here. And hey, sure infographics can work, who says no!

Nice ideas Koundeenya!
While I do agree to the ideas you mentioned and do follow some of them, but I generally feel when we are motivated and inspired by people or our surroundings – those post ideas turn out to be wonderful – isn’t it?
Speaking of myself, I rarely find the time to read many blog with the limited time I get. Nevertheless, I get inspired by nature, the daily happenings in our lives, my kids and family, or a small gesture of a friend, or something that I notice, which then takes the form of most of my posts. Though mine is a personal blog, but I prefer combining my personal experiences with what I research or experiences and share them with my readers – it adds your voice and feelings to a post I feel.
Similarly, with my writing blog – there I do share all that I’ve learnt and less of my experience, which now I can do after so many years of freelancing – though I still need to revive that blog now
Thanks for sharing.
